High-Risk Pregnancy & Postpartum Advocacy

You don’t have to navigate every next step alone.

When pregnancy becomes complex or recovery brings unexpected questions, it can be hard to organize everything you want to ask, communicate, and prepare for.

I provide virtual, non-clinical advocacy for individuals during high-risk pregnancy, including placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), and postpartum recovery. Together, we make room for your questions, clarify your priorities, and organize practical next steps.

Across appointments, I help you keep track of what was answered, revisit concerns that remain unresolved, and adjust practical next steps as your circumstances change. You have someone to work through those steps with you.

As a placenta increta survivor, my experience with an unexpected obstetric emergency shaped my commitment to helping others feel heard, prepared, and supported.

What Does It Mean to Have an Advocate?

A patient advocate helps you navigate the healthcare system, organize questions, and access support. Having an advocate in your corner means having someone who listens, helps you prepare, and supports you in communicating with your care team so your questions, needs, and preferences are part of the conversation.

How I Can Support You

Prepare for Appointments
Organize your questions and concerns, keep track of answers, and identify what you still want to discuss with your care team.

Communicate Your Preferences
Put your needs, wishes, and boundaries into words. Include your chosen support person so they understand what matters to you.

When needed, I can also help you find information about patient rights and your hospital’s process for asking questions, requesting additional support, or raising a concern.

Plan for Practical Needs
Prepare for your hospital stay, support at home, and follow-up appointments, guided by your medical team’s recommendations.

Access Practical Support
Explore practical services and community resources, understand eligibility and access requirements, and work through whom to contact next.
